Finding Bigfoot

The crew of Finding Bigfoot has been chasing squatches since 2011. Made up of four members, a high-school science teacher, a former roadie, a skeptical scientist and BFRO president Matt Moneymaker. This show always provided the goods. Bobo provided the laughter and the group brought the chemistry that they had while trying to track down the big guy. Have they found a Bigfoot? Can’t say for sure. You’re just gonna need to watch the show…ALL. 9. SEASONS.

The Expedition Bigfoot team consists of a heavy-hitting crew: including Bryce Johnson, Dr. Mireya Mayor, Russell Acord, Ronny LeBlanc, and Ryan “RPG” Golembeske.

Bigfoot Girl starts out as an interesting documentary but I was bored within the first 10 minutes. Some interviews of Bigfoot enthusiasts but it just couldn’t keep my attention.

Josh Gates Hunt for the Yeti

I may be pretty biased but watching this series from Josh Gates made me want to book a ticket to Nepal and travel up and around the Andes searching for the Yeti. From the legends he learned to the scenic views and prayer flags, he comes close to finding more information about the beast that stalks the mountain range on the other side of the world. I highly suggest you watch it.

AMAZON PRIME

Amazon Prime definitely takes the cake when it comes to the most variety of Bigfoot documentaries and movies. If you don’t have it, I highly recommend that you get it so you can get these shows under your belt.

Discovering Bigfoot

There is a TON of controversy about this documentary. Todd Standing, the creator of the film, is known to some as a great hoaxer. To others, he’s a true hero in the Bigfoot community.  It’s definitely fun to watch at least but as far as whether it’s a big fraud or not…you’ll have to answer that question for yourself. To give it some credibility, Jeff Meldrum, professor of Anatomy & Anthropology at Idaho State University, goes along with Todd for the ride to find some clues for Bigfoot. Anything with Jeff gets my attention though, I’ve got great admiration for him. And controversy or not, this was a FUN watch.

In my honest opinion, I found this one a little dry and hard to get into. Had some testimonials from people but most of it felt like a documentary that you’re forced to watch in high school. I’m always appreciative of work about Bigfoot though. If you’re a die-hard, definitely check this out. If you’re not and you’re just looking for a fun watch on the big guy…you may want to skip this one.

Chasing Bigfoot: The Quest for Truth
3.5/5
3.5/5

This doc has a ton of interviews from people involved with Bigfoot research. It isn’t my favorite series because it’s easy to get distracted and a little bored. The music is something from a Bgeneric movie creator software. If you’re a Bigfoot lover, you gotta watch it. If you’re just looking for an easy-going watch, this may not be it.

Survivorman: Bigfoot [Season 6]
4.8/5
4.8/5

This entire series was one of my favorite to watch. First of all, Les Stroud (aka Survivorman) is just great at filming and narrating. He went to multiple locations throughout North America to try and find any hint of a Bigfoot or Sasquatch. Some of the eyewitness stories along with the experts that join him were fascinating. The best part about his series is that he’s a skeptic but is open to being proven wrong if he finds the evidence. A must-watch for sure. I’ll leave out the cool stuff and his final consensus on Bigfoot.

This is like a homemade movie and it’s not very good. I appreciate the effort but it’s like watching a weird Powerpoint. The audio isn’t great and it’s difficult to follow. I would skip this one.

Pottersville

Pottersville is not going to win an Oscar anytime soon, but it’s weird as hell and can be quite funny at times. After finding out that his wife is cheating on him, a small-town man runs around town drunk and in a gilly suit. This leads to an outcry of Bigfoot sightings which leads to Bigfoot investigation shows flocking to the area. If you could use a laugh, I recommend this movie. Just don’t expect too much.
